Introducing your hosts…
Dr. Glenn Singleman & Heather Swan
Glenn and Heather are professional adventurers with many world records and world firsts to their credit.
They moved to Yackandandah from Sydney in February 2020, just before COVID turned everything upside down. For the past three years, instead of their normal busy travelling schedule, they have focused on nurturing the farm (and each other). They have achieved a lot. Now they would like to share their beautiful property with you.
To learn more about Heather’s horse journey and how Glenn and Heather came to be in Yackandandah check out her recent Podcast interview with Warwick Schiller
Meet our farm friends
Cortney & Monique (Horticulturalist)
We are very fortunate to have Cortney at Dark Horse Farm. She lends us her unstoppable energy, positivity and skill (both with plants and horses) most days of the week. She has qualifications in horticulture and many things equine. A former mounted police woman, the horses (and us) appreciate her consistently brave, calm way of being.
Shakira Spargo lends us her extensive knowledge about horses one to two days each week. Shakira is a qualified barefoot trimmer and a talented artist - creating woven and braided treasures. You can learn more about her by visiting her Facebook Page - Shakira Creations.
Monique helps us in garden from time to time. She has totally green thumbs and is passionate about everything to do with organic farming. Especially the veggie patch.
